Habitat Outdoor Public Sculpture

This public sculpture by Cameron Van Dyke was commissioned by Celedon – New Town as part of its new urbanism development in Grand Rapids, MI. The large sculpture sits near the main entrance welcoming visitors and residents.

The sculpture is fabricated in steel and hot dipped galvanized for protection from the elements. β€œThe title refers to the network of interdependent elements in a community and the way that those elements hold themselves together. It is a metaphor for the way a community grows and the way the natural world builds and supports itself.”
