Prairie Style Kitchen

This house built in 1915 is based on a Frank Llyod Wright plan published in the Ladies Home Journal in 1907 called “Fireproof House for $5000″. The original kitchen, bath, and maid’s room were combined to create the new large kitchen with historic cabinets and trim. Over 1000 square feet of African Mahogany were used in this room. Architectural details from the house were used to make the kitchen feel as authentic and historically accurate as possible to the original interior millwork.
